Hi I'm Rob Harrison.  I'm a fourth year undergraduate at the Spitzer School of Architecture at the City College of New York.  As an independent study project, I am designing a timber gridshell structure to be used as a camping cabin.  As well as my architectural education, I have a background in construction, and I have worked as a finish carpenter and a framing carpenter.  Visit the link below to see my online portfolio of carpentry work.  With this experience, I hope to take a hands on approach to my project, and produce a structure that works as well in the real world as in the design software.
I would also like to credit my project mentor, Mohammad Bolhassani, a specialist in minimal structures and professor of Structures at the Spitzer School.
